Inside, 43 luxury rooms and suites reimagined by Tristan Auer pay homage to the area’s history, an air of ecclesiastical touches, a monastic universe reaching spectacular heights. The design, told through the eyes of an elusive traveller perpetually one step ahead leaving mementos collected.
A restaurant beckons with tales of New York intertwined with French tradition, a bar hidden away for evening drinks and clandestine conversation, a nod to New York nightlife.
A spa upstairs offers sanctuary with bespoke treatments, facials and massages. The cherry on top, a Roman bath tucked away.

A hotel comes to life
A voyage unfolds, each step a revelation of far flung lands retold by designer Tristan Auer. A five-star hotel steeped in the neighbourhood’s ecclesiastical heritage and moved by the lore of lost travellers, Auer is joined by visual artist Clovis Retif to create the fictitious tale of an extraordinary gentleman just out of reach yet present in spirit. A vision realised as a nod to mid-century New York and a nuance of gothic mystery, where darker tones, mirrors and intimate spaces are waiting to be discovered. An object found around every turn, a souvenir to tell a story, a piece of art hung taken from the collection from their elusive explorer.
