Purpose
In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended, and pursuant to Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and Council of 12 July 2002, for non-essential cookies, we must obtain your consent before storing or accessing information on your device (computer, phone, tablet). This rule aims to protect your privacy and ensure that you have full control over your data.
Under Articles 4(11) and 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), user consent must be freely given, informed, specific, and unambiguous before any non-essential cookies are stored or accessed. To ensure compliance, the CNIL adopted two important decisions on 17 September 2020:
- Decision No. 2020-091, which sets guidelines for applying Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act to reading and writing data on a user’s device.
- Decision No. 2020-092, which provides practical recommendations to ensure compliance, including best practices for obtaining consent and cases where certain trackers may be exempt.
These rules mean that you must give your consent before certain cookies are activated, except for those strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. You also have the ability to change your preferences at any time through our cookie management tool. This Policy transparently explains the types of cookies we use, their purposes, and your rights regarding their management.
