Open all year round, our Balearic getaway was first opened in 1933 and quickly became a haven for Hollywood’s biggest stars throughout the 1950s. In the decades that followed, Montesol paved the way for peace & love. Today, Ibiza’s original hotel still stands right in the centre of Ibiza Town.
Under Montesol Experimental's roof, find 33 bedrooms and suites designed by Dorothée Meilichzon. Behind each door, a nod to the hotel's storied past and a dose of celestial touches alongside a palette of cool whites and pastel yellows and pinks. Windows unveil panoramic views of Ibiza Town, from the magnificence of nearby Old Town and Dalt Vila to the marina where boats journey to and from nearby Formentera. Downstairs, tuck into breakfast, lunch or dinner at our restaurant and outdoor terrace or head upstairs to our rooftop cocktail bar for an evening beneath the stars. An iconic hotel, reimagined.

Our suites offer magnificent views across Ibiza. Inside, lush fabrics, bold patterns and calming colours spread across 55sqm of space complete with a private bedroom and a king size bed.

The perfect place for evening cocktails as the sun slips beneath horizon and inky skies reveal starry nights. The cocktail menu is a mix of Experimental classics and twists inspired by Balearic flavours.
