Welcome to La Compagnie Centre Street, a wine bar in the heart of downtown manhattan
A piece of Paris in the heart of New York City. A jewel-toned gem, tucked away on Centre Street, at the intersection of Nolita, Soho and Little Italy. Through glass doors, designer Dorothée Meilichzon has placed a long bar counterbalanced with cosy nooks for quiet conversation. Dark velvets, intricate pattern and natural wood are reminiscent of La Compagnie’s Parisian counterpart. A menu of over 1,000 references from around the world, many of French origin, yet lesser-known bottles from Lebanon, Israel, Greece, Hungary and Brazil. A menu where chef Eric Bolyard’s dishes are playfully elegant and designed to share. An escape to discover, where wine tastings and masterclasses offer a veritable immersion into the minds of our sommeliers and evenings are an invitation to linger over a bottle.

Dive deep into the world of wine, where regions are explored and stories are told. Wine Bootcamp is an hourlong experience with a sommelier at the helm, taking you on a journey through wine and food led by Vitalii Dascaliuc, Aaron Blankfield or Maij Aladesuyi, Compagnie’s illustrious band of sommeliers. Dark velvets and natural wood are reminiscent of La Compagnie’s Parisian counterpart and exposed bring and metal touches are a nod to New York. Natural light floods the room, offering dappled shadows as afternoon settles in.
